Its early in the morning before 6am. Although is early but the air is not cool and without breeze.
That's a sand castle in the foreground and the ships anchoring at the sea with the lights.
at the stretch of ships lining there!  Its quiet and cloudy today. 
Perhaps neighbouring countrie's getting into bush fire again. Its so stuffy.

Our Creation On The Beach

That's my creation. And she is helping me to grow some hair on it.

Artist at work early in the morning. I used the seaweed or grass (whatever) found on the seaside for the hair. Creative huh? Not having so much fun for so long. That smaller cute chick was drawn by xn (on the bottom left corner).

Happy Moon Cake Festival

Wishing everyone who celebrate this joyous occasion a Happy Moon Cake Fesitval. It will be hot here. Hopefully we will be getting some breeze on the actual day. That would be very much enjoyable to have the mooncake under the moon light. These are the snow skin custard mooncake with salted egg yolk inside. Exception to the red one with orange peel included. For this second time, we did make some changes to the original recipe. The texture as well as the flavour improves.

Failure N Success

These are being name failure (the coconut biscuits) and success (the blueberry muffin). (This blog was kind of late as both was bake on 28 Jun 09.) The coconut biscuit received very good review in the recipe. A simple and easy to bake biscuits. But its not receiving any favourable comments from my family. The coconut taste is mild and the biscuits aren't crisp. Just like shortcake. It just lack the right fragrance. But the blueberry muffin was a hit with everyone. Its soft and moist. With the berries ozing out the juices. Having tea with this muffin is heaven!

Summer Dessert: I think cherries and blueberries are in season now. Supermarkets are filled with it at great value. So I made this for the summer. Its so relaxing and cooling having this in a hot weather. So if you can't enjoy the great taste of it; enjoy the pictures.

Lemon Yogurt Cake

This is a simple no fuss cake. Do not really need any skill. Just whipped everything together in a bowl without lumps. The recipe is from the Sunday Times. They published many great recipes. I usually cut it out and keep it for record. Try and tested some.

Mmm....delicious. This one is soft and spongy. Anyone who loves the lemon sweet and sour taste should give this a shot. It was DELICIOUS! Its not like the butter cake. You get kind of "sick" after a few slices. But this just increase your appetite. However, make this only occasionally as the sugar contain is very high. It uses 225g as compared to sponge cake that uses only 150g.

　　长白山特产：野玫瑰果
　　又称刺玫果，学名刺玫蔷薇，是吉林山区和半山区的特产酱果，年产果约500吨，花10吨。果实可制果汁、果酱，色泽风味俱佳。花可提取香精，花瓣用于窨茶。根可活血通络，治关节炎、大便失禁等症。花、果均有清热、解渴、止血的功效，外敷可治肿毒。野玫瑰果所含维生素C为柑桔含量的60倍，是我国出口的新品种。
　　野玫瑰学名刺莓蔷薇，别名刺莓果，属蔷薇科，落叶灌木。一般高1－2米，枝无毛，暗紫色，小枝叶柄基部常有成对的皮刺，刺弯曲，茎部大。羽状复叶，小叶5－7片，矩圆形或长椭圆形，长1.5－3.0厘米,宽0.8-1.5 厘米,尖端急尖或稍钝,茎部宽形,边缘近中部以上有锐锯齿,上面无毛,下面灰绿色,有白霜、柔毛和腺体，托部叶大，附着于叶柄上，边缘下面及叶柄均被腺毛。花单生或数朵聚生，深红色，直径约4厘米左右，花梗具有腺毛，柱头刚伸出花托口处。蔷薇果球形或卵形，直径1－1.5厘米，红色。野玫瑰一般喜生于林缘开阔地、河岸、山坡灌木及杂木林中。每千克鲜果中含 580毫克维生素C，是提取天然维生素C的主要原料之一。此外，还含有葡萄糖、果糖等多种糖类，以及柠檬酸、苹果酸、奎宁等各种有机酸和多种色素。其花含有挥发油0.03%，香气浓郁，既是调味佳品，又是治疗肝胃气痛、风痹、吐血咳血、月经不调、赤白带下、乳痛、肿毒等病症的良药。野玫瑰花木不仅具有观赏价值，而且还可药用、食用等，是一种用途广泛的植物。

Many people say that blueberries are good for the eyes. Red cherry are for replenished your "blood". Well both got about the goodness ingredients in them. They are rich source of antioxidants and can act as anti-inflammatory. These compounds can relieve or prevent head and body aches, and even ease the symptoms of arthritis and gout.
Improve the body’s Circadian Rhythms. Fight against premature aging. Serve as a healthy snack. Low calories, no sodium and no cholesterol. Great source of fiber and vitamin C also.
